It's rare we get to sit outside, enjoy the great outdoors and be entertained, but this Friday night a novel event is taking place in the city centre.
A big screen is being erected at Fitzwilliam Square where 80s classic movie The Goonies will be shown.
The weather is expected to be nice so it's a opportunity to gather some friends, bring a blanket and a picnic and quote "Goonies never say die."
The 1985 film follows the story of a group of friends who try to find treasure to save their neighbourhood from being demolished.
Gates open at 8pm and the park will be transformed into a pop-up outdoor cinema with entertainment, music and food.
The movie will be being screened at dusk.
Tickets are available on happenings.ie or on the gate for €10.
