Singer Ed Sheeran has reached a deal with the writers of a Matt Cardle song over a claim of copyright infringement.
Thomas Leonard and Martin Harrington penned the song 'Amazing' for the 2010 X Factor winner.
They said the chorus of Ed's 'Photograph' (co-written with Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid) was "instantly recognisable to the ordinary observer."
Ed's team has settled to avoid a court case reportedly worth up to 19 million euro.
Leonard and Harrington's lawyer Richard Busch hasn't commented on the terms of the settlement.
He's the same attorney who successfully sued Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams on behalf of the family of Marvin Gaye over their song 'Blurred Lines.'
