Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be ready to face Liverpool, that’s the message from Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.
Illness kept the in-form Swedish striker from playing in the League Cup semi-final first leg 2-0 win over Hull City.
Mourinho though has allayed fans’ fears that he could miss the crucial clash with bitters rivals Liverpool in the Premier League at the weekend.
“Zlatan is ill, so no problem I think he will be fine (for Liverpool)”
The striker has netted 18 goals in 28 games across all competitions this season, Mourinho is sure he will defeat his dose before they face the Reds.
Marcus Rojo though could be sidelined, he’s carrying a knock. Mourinho feels they’ll need to make massive improvements if they are to defeat Liverpool.
