Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington hit an incredible shot today during his opening round to remain in contention at the Scottish Open.
The Dubliner looked to be about 20 yards away from the edge of the green hitting his fourth shot on the 16th hole but decided to whip out his putter.
And he only went and stuck it in the hole!
Fantastic stuff from the Rathfarnham native who carded a 67 to leave himself on 5 under par and just two strokes behind Finnish leader Mikko Ilonen who carded a bogey free 65.
Harrington is one of a group of six golfers tied for second place, giving himself a great chance to make an attack over the weekend.
Greystones man Paul Dunne is also in the mix, just one shot further back on 4 under after he carded an opening round 68 to tie for eighth place.
Rory McIlroy's poor form continued today as he carded 74 and is joined on 2 over by Darren Clarke with fellow Ulsterman Graeme McDowell a shot further back.
