Sir Ian McGeechan believes that Sam Warburton should be captain for Saturday's second test against the All Blacks, at the expense of Peter O'Mahony.
The Munster man captained the Lions in the 30-15 loss to New Zealand over the weekend.
Former Lions head coach feels the best option would be to:
"I think if they were going to make a change and they wanted him to be captain, I think you'd have to bring him in at six."
The former Scottish international and five time Lions coach believes Warburton is a better option than O'Mahony and would be a better fit to play alongside Leinster's Seán O'Brien and Welsh number eight Taulupe Faletau.
"O'Brien, they need a ball carrier at seven, and Warburton at the breakdown. He's not as powerful on the carries, but he's a high work rate, so he'd be a good foil for O'Brien and Faletau."
