Head coach Warren Gatland has named Leinster outhalf Johnny Sexton in the starting Lions team for the opening tour game.
Sexton is one of three Irish starters in the first fifteen to face the New Zealand Provincial Barbarians this Saturday (08:35 Irish time).
Ulstermen Rory Best at hooker and Iain Henderson at second row are also included, with Joe Marler, Kyle Sinckler and Alun Wyn Jones completing the front five.
Ross Moriarty, Sam Warburton and Taulupe Faletau make up the rest of the pack for the match at the Toll Stadium in Whangarei.
Greg Laidlaw partners Sexton in the half-back line while former Leinster man Ben Te'o joins up with Jonathan Joseph in the centre.
The back three consists of Tommy Seymour, Anthony Watson and Stuart Hogg.
