Isa Nacewa believes that his Leinster team-mate Garry Ringrose is proving himself on the international stage in this year's Six Nations.
Ringrose earned cap number six in the win against France last weekend while he also has two international tries in the bag.
There were some doubters with regard to Ringrose's defensive capabilities but his stats in that area are decent with 13 tackles and 1 missed against Scotland, 8 & 2 against Italy and 6 & 2 in the meeting with Les Bleus.
Nacewa feels the hard work put in by the centre is paying off.
"[He's] always willing to learn and he's so physical in all our Leinster games. His defence has sort of set the platform a lot of the times for Leinster and he's showing what he can do on the international stage now.
"He deserves everything that he's worked so hard for and I think the whole of Ireland and Europe is starting to see what type of player he really is."Leinster's skipper also gave huge praise to all the backroom team following the news this week that seven academy graduates had signed their first pro contracts with the Blues.
Nacewa feels that the players themselves have really earned their spurs by showing they can perform at the level expected at the province."Many of them have taken a really big leap, even in Europe this year. The likes of Joey Carbery, Ross Byrne, Nick McCarthy, Rory O'Loughlin.
"These guys have taken a massive step up, taken the opportunity and are enjoying their time at Leinster so it's an academy system that's really working really well."
Isa was in the RDS today to reveal details of the #FuelThe4th fan experience. Life Style Sports is encouraging Leinster Rugby fans to ignite the club’s bid for European glory by asking them to post messages of support to their favourite player using #FuelThe4th. The winner with the most inspirational social post will watch Leinster take on Wasps in their very own bespoke premium level box.
