Dublin star Michael Darragh Macauley's season could be in danger.
According to today’s Herald, the Ballyboden St Endas man is struggling with knee and foot problems.
Macauley picked up his foot issue during Dublin’s Allianz League campaign, with a further scan of that problem uncovering a more serious knee issue.
He started in 'Boden's Dublin Senior Football Championship first round defeat to St. Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh at Parnell Park last month, coming off in the second half.

The 2013 Footballer of the Year may now need surgery, which could rule him out for Dublin’s defence of their Leinster and All-Ireland crowns.
The Boys in Blue kick off their Leinster Championship campaign against either Carlow or Wexford on June 3rd.
