Shamrock Rovers have removed graffiti from the front of Tallaght Stadium and from the Milltown Monument, the site of their former home.
The graffiti was discovered this morning, ahead of tonight’s big Dublin derby clash between Rovers and arch rivals Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
The letters BSC, which stands for Bohs Soccer Casuals, were written on the monument.
The vandalism will add tension to an already controversial SSE Airtricity Premier Division fixture, which saw fans clash inside Dalymount during last season’s corresponding fixture.

Rovers say the graffiti has now been removed from both locations.
The sides meet in a huge game this evening, with both sides needing a victory after poor starts to the season.
