Roddy Punishment "Incredible"- Pat Fenlon
Pat Fenlon has lambasted the FAI’s decision to ban and fine Roddy Collins over comments made in a newspaper article.
The Waterford United boss criticised the state of the Airtricity League of Ireland in his Irish Daily Star column, saying “It would be lost without the supporters and voluntary workers, everyone who tries their hardest to make it happen. Outside of that it’s a shambles.”
The FAI’s Disciplinary Control Unit gave Collins a six-match touchline ban, as well as a fine of €1,500.
Collins’ appeal against the decision was also dismissed.
Collins has received plenty of support within the League, including from Shamrock Rovers boss Fenlon.
