After months of build up, the Lions have finally arrived in New Zealand for their daunting tour.
Warren Gatland’s squad kick off their tour against the New Zealand Barbarians this Saturday.
Their first test against the All Blacks isn’t until June 24th.
The squad left London on Monday, and arrived into Auckland Airport overnight.
And they received a stunning traditional Maori Haka welcome:
The Lions squad have learnt the words of a traditional song from each of the four nations- England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
On Sunday night, they belted out Fields of Athenry at their farewell dinner in London.
And, in response to the Haka welcome, the Lions squad sang Welsh hymn Calon Lan:
Let battle commence!
