Conor Murray's been named the Rugby Players Ireland Players’ Player of the Year.
The scrum half has been in superb form for Ireland and Munster this year, helping Joe Schmidt’s men to the historic win over the All Blacks in Chicago last November.
He was also instrumental in guiding Munster to the Champions Cup semi final this season, while they also ended the season top of the Guinness PRO12 table, with a PRO12 semi final to come against Ospreys next weekend.
The awards ceremony took place at the Clayton Hotel in Ballsbridge last night.
Leinster’s Tadhg Furlong was named Supporter’s Player of the Year, while Garry Ringrose picked up the Young Player gong.
In a huge year for Women’s rugby in the country, Lindsay Peat claimed the Women’s Player of the Year.

Robbie Henshaw’s effort against New Zealand, in the famous win in Chicago last November, was named Try of the Year.
