Leinster's Joey Carbery was named the Young Player of the Year, at the Guinness PRO12 awards at the Guinness Storehouse last night.
Carbery has had a stunning breakthrough year, finishing joint-top try scorer for the Blues in the PRO12 this year, with 8 tries.
He also won an Ireland call-up- making his debut in the historic win over his native New Zealand in Chicago last November.
The award was voted for by a 30-strong media panel from across Italy, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Ulster's Charles Piutau claimed the Player's Player of the Year award, despite his side finishing fifth in the table.
Munster's Rassie Erasmus won Coach of the Year.
The Guinness PRO12 team of the year was announced last week, with just two Leinster players making the cut.
