Leinster's coaching staff are staying put for another two seasons.
According to the Irish Independent, Leo Cullen, Stuart Lancaster, John Fogarty and Girvan Dempsey have all reached agreement to remain with the Blues until 2019.
All four contracts had been due to expire this summer, with speculation that Lancaster in particular was considering a departure from the RDS.
Former England head coach Lancaster signed on at the start of the season as a “Senior Coach”, after Kurt McQuilkin’s departure, while head coach Cullen, scrum coach Fogarty and backs coach Dempsey all signed two year deals in 2015.
The Irish Independent reports that it’s still unclear if their job titles will remain the same from this summer on, but an announcement is expected shortly.
The news is a huge boost to Leinster, as they prepare for Saturday’s Champions Cup clash with Wasps at the Aviva Stadium.
Lancaster has played a big part in Leinster’s revival this season, after they struggled for the past two seasons in Matt O’Connor’s last season in charge and Leo Cullen’s debut season at the helm.
