There is good news on the injury front for Josh van der Flier.
The Leinster & Ireland back row suffered a shoulder injury in the Guinness Pro12 win over Edinburgh earlier this month.
There were reports he could miss up to 8 weeks as a result.
That would have seen him miss the latter stages of the Six Nations, as well as Leinster’s Champions Cup quarter final against Wasps on April 1st.
However, Leinster coach Girvan Dempsey had much more positive news on the back row star today.
He told 98FM Sport’s Derek Ryan that van der Flier’s injury isn’t as serious as first feared, so he won't be out for as long as expected:
