Trinity Halls Of Residence To Open To Any College's Students
Trinity College has been given to host tourists in its students halls during summer time.
An approved change to planning rules means it will also be able to offer accommodation to any third level student and not just those that attend Trinity.
Over a thousand students can live on Trinity's property in single and twin bed rooms as well as apartments.
Locals in Dartry had objected to the plans. One couple living near the Dartry res claimed they could see into the rooms from their house and nothing could be left to the imagination, "not dissimilar to a reality TV show."
