Officers Sacked For Dragging Man Off Flight
Two security officers in the US have been fired, after a man was forcibly removed from a flight earlier this year.
Footage of Dr David Dao being dragged from the United Airlines plane went viral back in April.
An investigation from the Chicago Office of the Inspector General (OIG) found three aviation security officers and one sergeant violated rules during the incident.
It also said the first officer "escalated a non-threatening situation into a physically violent one".
It also found the second officer made "misleading statements" in two reports, and a third officer made "material omissions" in a report.
The Chicago Department of Aviation's discharged the first officer and the sergeant.
While five-day suspensions were given to the second and third officers.
