A cleanup operation is getting underway across the country today after Storm Ophelia brought Ireland to a standstill.
Three people died in separate incidents as heavy winds and rain battered the country, with areas of the south and west worst affected.
As Dublin and other parts of the country attempt to return to normal this morning, local authorities will be attempting to assess the damage caused.
