Ryanair Cancels Hundreds Of Dublin Flights
Ryanair is cancelling hundreds of flights in and out of Dublin. The embattled airline is pulling 22 flights a week between November and March.
A number of flights every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday will be affected, on routes that include Barcelona, Paris, Birmingham and Bucharest.
Each week, between November 1st 2017 and March 24th 2018 the following flights will be cancelled:
Flights have been cancelled between Dublin and
- Birmingham
- Paris Beauvais
- Barcelona
- Bucharest
- Madrid
- Warsaw
- Krakow
The cancelled flights are between Dublin and Birmingham, Paris, Barcelona, Bucharest, Madrid, Warsaw and Krakow.
Because passengers have been given more than two weeks notice, they won't be entitled compensation - but Ryanair will have to offer them a refund or a seat on a different flight.
It comes as UK aviation bosses warn the embattled airline that it could face legal action for "persistently misleading passengers" on their consumer rights.
Here, Michael O'Leary has been invited to appear before the Oireachtas Transport Committee to explain the mess, but he can't be forced to show up.
