Ryanair Axing 34 Winter Routes Over Roster Mess
Ryanair's recovery from its roster mess is going to continue right into next summer. The airline's taking 25 planes out of action until March, and it'll keep ten on the ground all next year.
At least another 400,000 Ryanair passengers are going to be told their flights are cancelled, as the airline scales back its winter service.
Ryanair has already axed more than 2-thousand flights until the end of October, after miscalculating crew leave.
Now it's admitted those problems won't end in November. Instead it'll fly 25 fewer aircraft and axe 34 routes until the end of March. It will also keep ten planes out of service next summer.
All those affected are receiving emails today offering them alternative flights or full refunds.
Last week, Michael O'Leary claimed he was planning to recruit more than 100 pilots within a matter of days to address the problem.
