Man Arrested Over 1987 Triple Murder
A man has been arrested by gardai investigating a fatal fire in Kildare thirty years ago.
20-year-old Barbara Doyle, 8-year-old Mary Ellen Byrne and 3-year-old Kerrie Byrne died in the house fire in Kilcock on 20th September, 1987.
Just last week, the investigation into their deaths at Church Lane was upgraded to a triple murder.
This afternoon, a man in his fifties was arrested in North County Dublin.
He is currently detained at Leixlip Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
