One of the city's biggest waste companies is calling for action against those who intimidate or abuse its staff.
Greyhound Household has released footage showing a variety of cases where employees are under attack while carrying out their jobs.
The firm says staff members have been verbally abused or even assaulted, and it says it's seen instances were residents have blocked trucks from moving so they can tip black bin waste into the recycling vehicle.
Last month a man was handed a two year jail sentence after being convicted of assaulting a Greyhound worker in Finglas.
Bosses say the violence could force them to stop collections on some roads, and are calling for gardai and politicians to take action.
