Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information following a double murder in Ballymun last week. Mother of six Antoinette Corbally and Clinton Shannon were shot dead on Balbuthcher Drive last wednesday - the 16th of August - while the intended target escaped.
Gardaí want to hear from anyone who knows anymore about two cars used in the attack - a silver Opel Zafira registration number 08 LS 3101 and a black golf with registration number 06-LH-3466.
Detective Superintendent Colm Fox, said he is "endeavouring to establish the prior whereabouts of two vehicles used in the commission of the murders", and asked people who saw the cars to contact gardai.
"Parking spaces in apartment complexes, housing estates, and other parking areas are at a premium. Was your parking spot or a neighbours blocked by either of these cars or similar cars or indeed any car for any length of time?", he asked.
"Any information you may have, no matter how insignificant it might seem to be to you, could be very important to the investigation", said Detective Fox.
