Charity worker Christina Noble has described the experience of being held at knife point in her own home.
The founder of the Christina Noble Children's Foundation was sleeping downstairs in her home when the incident took place.
She had recently returned to Ireland from Vietnam, and had spent a short time in hospital here after collapsing from exhaustion.
The children's rights activist says her home feels 'soiled' after the robbery.
Christina has explained how the man who broke in repeatedly threatened to kill her during the 12-minute long ordeal.
She says the man made off with her phone and car after she managed to press a panic button.
Christina says she was able to use her panic alarm when the raider turned away.
