Jim Carrey's legal team has won a bid to use his ex-girlfriend's medical records in the wrongful death lawsuit against him.
Cathriona White - who was from Co Tipperary - was found dead at her home in Los Angeles in September 2015 after an overdose from prescription drugs.
Lawyers for her husband and mother claim the Hollywood star used his celebrity status to provide the medication.
Mr Carrey denies the allegations and will face trial from April.
The actor has previously said the lawsuit is a "heartless attempt" to exploit him and the woman he loved.
