People in Meath say there needs to be more investment in the water system after a pipe burst for the second time today.
The incident left up to 10,000 residents without water for the majority of the day.
The pipe has been fixed and Irish Water says everyone's supply should be restored by this evening.
Local Fianna Fáil TD Shane Cassells says there needs to be investment to stop incidents like this from happening.
He said it caused "huge heartache" to people and businesses in Navan, and said one family had their house flooded for the second time in 20 months.
He said: "There really needs to be a very focused effort by Irish Water now in terms of the water infastructure in this town to make sure this is not repeated."
