People are getting to have their say on whether rickshaws need to be regulated.
The National Transport Authority is launching an online survey today as part of its consultation with the public.
The results of it will guide the Department of Transport in how it drafts new laws to cover the popular night-time industry.
Currently rickshaws operators don't have to be registered or have insurance.
The NTA's Deputy CEO Hugh Creegan says there are several questions that need to be asked:
"Should they be registered so there's a database there and if there's an accident, it can be followed up on easy (sic)"
