The rapid build properties will be constructed in the Ballyfermot and Finglas areas.
The first of these two and three bedroom units are set to be completed by the end of this year.
53 new units have been approved for Cherry Orchard in Ballyfermot while in Finglas, 13 units are coming to Rathvilly Park and four will be built in Woodbank Drive. Overall, the new modular units are set to provide homes for up to 320 people in Dublin.
The modular homes can be delivered faster than bricks-and-mortar homes because they don't need to fulfill strict planning laws. They're aimed at tackling the homeless crisis by taking families out of emergency hotel accommodation.
