A man has been arrested following a standoff at a church in Crumlin.
Trained negotiators were called to the scene at St Agnes Church at around 5.45pm.
A number of parishoners had gathered for mass when a man threatened to start a fire at the altar.

It's understood he sprayed a substance in the church and on himself.
Armed gardai attended the scene and Dublin Fire Brigade were also on standby in case a blaze broke out.
A detective managed to persuade the man to stand down and he was taken into custody shortly after half eight.
He can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
