The defence is due to put it's case when the trial of Ibrahim Halawa resumes today in Cairo.
The 21 year old from Firhouse has been in jail in Egypt since he was arrested during political protests in Egypt in August 2013.
His mass trial has been repeatedly put back. Today is his 27th court appearance.
He's being tried along with 493 other prisoners and all the defendants' lawyers must be heard.
Colm O'Gorman from Amnesty International Ireland says it's a race against time for the trial to end before the Egyptian courts close for the Summer.
