Gardaí are continuing their investigations after a man's body was found in South Dublin.
It was recovered from the River Dodder this morning.
The remains were spotted by a passer-by in the Rathfarnham area at about 10am.
They contacted Gardaí and officers, along with members of Dublin Fire Brigade, removed the body from the water.
Details of the man's identity or age are not yet known but a post-mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow.
The scene remains sealed off for an examination and investigations are continuing.
