A massive weapons seizure and drugs bust in Ballyfermot is being linked to the Kinahan cartel. Three men are being questioned about a heroin and cannabis haul worth 4 million euro.
As part of the gardai's ongoing mission to take out organised drug gangs, special detectives raided a house in the Ballyfermot Parade area yesterday evening.
There they uncovered cannabis and heroin thought to be worth around 4 million euro.
They also seized stun guns, a sawn-off shotgun and a semi automatic firearm along with cash counting and vacuum packing machines.
In follow up searches three men aged 39, 44 were arrested and 46. The suspects have been taken to Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations. They can be held for up to 7 days before they must either be charged or released.
