Gardai have renewed their appeal for information following the death of a man on Friday, who had sustained serious injuries in a hit and run last Christmas.
27 year old Callum Grimes was was knocked down on the Skerries to Loughshinny road in the early hours of Tuesday the 27th of December.
It's understood he was found a number of hours later by a delivery driver.
He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital. He pronounced dead three days and a post mortem is due to take place today.
Detectives are asking any witnesses or anyone who might have information to get in touch.
They are particularly anxious to speak to anyone who may have observed the movements of a Blue VW Transporter Van with a 06-C reg which left Strand Street in Skerries sometime after 1.30am on the 27th of December 2016 and travelled on the R128 towards Loughshinny.
