Plans to redevelop the flat complex where Love Hate was filmed could be delayed.
1600 homes are set to be built between O'Devaney Gardens in Dublin 7, St Michael's Estate in Inchicore and Oscar Traynor Road.
It's to be a mixed tenure development meaning there'll be a combination of social housing and private home ownership.
20% of the properties are being designated as 'affordable' and will be sold at a discount to people on lower incomes.
But Dublin City Council says it's ready to plough ahead, but is hamstrung until the government puts an affordable housing scheme in place.
