Dublin Airport's Terminal 2 is said to "exceed" fire safety regulations.
The DAA has told Irish Examiner Terminal 2 is "one of the best fire-engineered buildings" in Ireland.
A spokesperson says a review was carried out in the wake of the Grenfell Tower disaster in London. It confirmed the terminal's cladding doesn't compare to the tower block's facade and it 'more than exceeds the relevant fire and building regulations.'
Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy has already asked local authorities to review fire safety in multi-storey social housing in the wake of the Grenfell fire.
Last week Dublin City Council revealed its asked for more information about the cladding used on the Poolbeg Incinerator.
