A search is due to resume in Canada today for a 26 year old Irish man missing since Friday.
The man's thought to have drowned after diving from a bridge over Beaver Creek in British Colombia.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's providing consular assistance and that the Irish Embassy in Ottawa is liaising with the local authorities.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police released a statement saying "On June 30, 2017, shortly after 3:30 pm, Golden RCMP received a report that a man had dove off a bridge over Beaver Creek and had failed to surface."
They added that "members of the E Division Underwater Recovery Team will be attending Golden in the coming days in an effort to locate the 26-year-old man."
