It’s International Yoga Day and Yogis around the world are celebrating the ancient practice. The initiative was introduced by the UN two years ago and June 21st was chosen because it’s the longest day of the year.
A recent study has found that yoga can actually reverse stress at the molecular level.
Jenny Keane from Dublin quit her job two years ago to become a full time yoga instructor "I was suffering from insomnia from work-related stress and hadn't slept in months".
"I went to a bikram class and I went to 8pm, finished at 10pm and when I went home put my head on the pillow and conked out like a light. When I woke I was like what is this magic?!"
"I went in the next week and quit work, once you enter this world it's very hard to go back in", she explained.
