Gardai have been carrying out door to door inquiries, trying to track her last movements before she was murdered and her body parts scattered in the Wicklow Mountains. Locals have described the grandmother- who was in her early 60s - as a lovely, hardworking woman.
Searches continued in the Wicklow Mountains today for more clues into how Patricia O’Connor died, while a house in Rathfarnham has also been sealed off to be examined.
It's believed that the woman's body was driven to Kilmuckridge in Co. Wexford and an attempt made to bury her. Since Saturday her remains have been found scattered across Military road and the Wicklow Mountains.
Seven scenes in the area are sealed off where most of the victims body parts were recovered and searches are continuing. A man in his 30s who was arrested in Wexford last night is continuing to be questioned at Bray garda station.
