The Peter McVerry Trust is opening 11 apartments in the north inner city today.
St Agatha's Court at North Strand has been transformed for people making the transition out homelessness and onto the City Council's social housing list.
The €1.4m euro project will bring to 50 the total number of housing units delivered by the trust to date.
CEO Pat Doyle says this latest one forms part of the regeneration of the north inner city.
"It was a derelict site was due for demolition and in consultation with Dublin City Council we took over the site and made a planning application to put in 11 units. Ten one-beds and one two bed. They're opening today with 11 people getting the keys to their own door. That's 11 people coming off the homeless list."
