Twelve people have been arrested at an East London home of one of the London terror attackers.
A police operation is underway in London after seven people were killed and 48 more injured following last night's terror attack on London Bridge and in the Borough Market area.
According to Sky News, police made 12 arrests in a block of flats in Barking, where one of the attackers lived and officers are continuing to search "a number of addresses" in Barking.
Witnesses heard an attacker shout "This is for Allah."
A van was driven into pedestrians on London Bridge before moving to Borough Market where three suspects got out and stabbed people.
Three attackers were shot dead by police 'within 8 minutes.'
The death toll was six overnight but was revised in a press conference at Scotland Yard at 9.30am this morning.
The incident took place just after 10pm last night and the Metropolitan Police kept people up to date on social media throughout the night.
Close to 1am they confirmed that the incident was declared as terrorist.
They have now released an urgent appeal for photos and videos from the incident
Many world leaders have spoke out against the attack.
