A meat lovers food festival is coming to Dublin.
'Meatopia' started in New York and has also been held in London for the last four years in a row. It's coming to Dublin 8 this July for its first Irish outing.
Described as an event for "meat lovers with a conscience", it brings together chefs, butchers and customers who support ethical treatment of animals used for food.
The organisation's manifesto says: "Every piece of meat on offer will have been raised naturally, lived the best of lives and be totally and utterly hormone, antibiotic and cruelty free."
Guinness is hosting the Dublin spin-off at Saint James's gate from July 1st. Organisers say it will have indoor and outdoor events, along with a music line-up.
