A man arrested in connection with a major drugs seizure in Clondalkin has been charged.
Gardaí and Revenue stopped and searched a van on Thursday morning, where they found 34 kilograms of herbal cannabis.
It was thought to be worth €680,000.
The seizure was an operation conducted by Revenue officers, the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Special Crime Task Force as part of ongoing investigations targeting drug importations.
A 47 year old Albanian man was arrested at the scene and was taken to Clondalkin Garda Station.
He has been charged and is appearing before Blanchardstown District Court at 10:30am this morning.
