More than 56 thousand cars were camped on public roads in the Dublin City Council ares last year.
That's an average of 153 a day.
According to figures seen by the Irish Times, clamping in the city brought in more than 4.2 million for Dublin City Council.
Mespil Road was the most clamped, with release fees raising €74,000.
Waterloo Road was next raising €68,000 followed by Gardiner St. Lower.
Merrion Square West, South Circular Road, Burlington Road and Ormond Quay also made the top 10.
Money raised for the council through clamping increased by around €100,000 year on year.
