The IDA is welcoming plans for JP Morgan to expand in Dublin ahead of Brexit.
The biggest investment bank in the world is buying Capital Dock, the most easterly building on the south quays which is still under construction.
The firm currently employs 500 people here but the new office can accommodate a thousand workers.
It's not known when JP Morgan will announce plans to create more jobs.
CEO of IDA Ireland Martin Shanahan says it's a huge vote of confidence in Dublin:
“IDA has been constantly engaged with J.P. Morgan over the past number of months. We are delighted that the company has selected Dublin to grow some of its businesses and confirmed in recent weeks that our capital city will be one of the anchors for their post-Brexit European operations.”
