The Government says efforts are continuing to ensure that services across the public sector remain unaffected by a major cyber attack.
The WANNACRY virus blocked access to dozens of healthcare facilities - including one in County Wexford.
This incident is being dealt with by the HSE, Gardaí and Ireland's National Cyber Security Centre - however it's believed to have been stopped before it had done any major damage in this case.
A global investigation into the attack is expected to take shape over the coming days.
