Revenue has seized more than €2,600 worth of contraband at Dublin Port.
This morning, they recovered over 86 litres of alcohol and 1,600 cigarettes in a Ukrainian registered van that arrived on a ferry from Holyhead. Two kilograms of tobacco were also found during the search.
The Slovakian driver and his Hungarian passenger have been questioned.
The contraband is thought to be worth a €1,950 loss to the Exchequer.
