Two men have been arrested in Dublin as part of a Garda investigation into stolen power tools destined for illegal sale in Ireland.
Shortly after 7:30 yesterday evening, Gardai intercepted two vehicles at Dublin Port, which had arrived from the UK.
One of the vehicles had earlier been reported stolen.
Two Irish men, aged 38 and 29, were detained on Saturday night in connection with the find.
More searches by Gardaí uncovered a large quantity of stolen industrial power tools and gardening machinery.
Investigations are now ongoing with authorities in the UK to try identify the owners of the property seized.
The value of the stolen property is thought to be more than 50 grand.
The men are being held at Irishtown Garda station and are due in court later today.
