Investigations are underway at Trinity College after a major cyber scam.
It's believed up to €1m was stolen from bank accounts belonging to the Trinity Foundation.
The Trinity Foundation is a fundraising organisation which helps young people gain access to the university. The group says it's been the apparent victim of fraud and Gardaí are investigating.
The crime reportedly came to light after police in the UK raised concerns with Bank of Ireland over a number of suspicious transactions.
The Irish Sun report that €250,000 has been frozen in a number of bank accounts in the UK and US as a result. Some of the money, but not all, has since been recovered.
