Gardaí are continuing to question two men after a significant drugs find in the city centre yesterday.
It's understood the bust is a major blow to the Kinahan cartel.
This sting took place yesterday morning at Sir John Rogersons Quay in the south inner city.
Gardai stopped a car and a van as part of an ongoing operation by officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime bureaus.
They found 37 kilos of cannabis herb worth €740,000 and arrested two men.
The suspects aged 30 and 48 are being detained at Irishtown garda station where they can be held for up to 7 days.
