A record 2.2 million passengers traveled through Dublin Airport last month. That is a 2% rise on March last year, which Easter was held in.
Passenger volumes to and from Europe grew by 2%, UK trips stayed the same, while journeys to the U.S. took the biggest jump - rising by 14%.
The number of passengers taking a domestic flight fell, as did numbers travelling to the Middle East. The number of passengers using Dublin Airport to connect to another destination increased by 66%.
More than 5.8 million passengers have traveled through Dublin Airport in the first three months of the year; 5% more than the same time last year.
